For a dry shampoo try taking an old brush and sprinkling baby powder all over the brush. They brush it through your hair. The baby powder will soak up the grease in you hair and create more volume. (About $3 for 15oz of baby powder).

Vaseline acts as a great lip gloss that can soften and highlight lips. It also is a great feet softener. A little goes a long way. (About $4.50 for 13 oz, or if you prefer a tube, about $2 for 0.35 oz)

An inexpensive makeup remover for the lids, lashes, and lips is Johnson baby shampoo. You can use it in the shower or simply dab a bit into a cotton ball and rinse well. (About $3.50 for 15 oz)

You can take off any dead skin by scrubbing them with a sugar paste from your pantry. Mix a quarter-teaspoon of any food oil with a quarter-teaspoon of sugar. Gently rub it across your lips until any dry skin rolls off. (About $3-$4 for 48 oz of canola oil; about $2 for a pound of sugar)

Beets make a great natural lip and cheek stain. Cook some for dinner than take the juice and swipe it across your lips for a deep pinkish red. You can also use it for blush but be quick because if you don't swiftly blend it over the apples of your cheeks, it may dry patchy. For practicing for the 1st time only swipe it across your lips. (About $1 a pond)
